Themestock XI Poster
Promo poster for the yearly Themestock event. This is my fourth Themestock poster; I previously created them for Themestocks VIII, IX, and X.
Inspiration and process:
The poster concept came from a combination of the first two antique engraving images below. The first was a hand-colored color wheel, and the second was a depiction of the seven deadly sins. The t-shirt design for Themestock XI (by Lee Wiggins and Halley O'Malley) used that image, as you can see on the right. I wanted to create something with a similar mood while not using the same graphic.
